This game feels like Ubisoft treading water as much as they can. Not only that, the story interrupts you whenever it feels like it, ruining the immersion, and the plane combat is pure ass - the John Seed planet fight isn't a fight against John Seed's plane, it's a fight against your own sodding camera! The world feels empty, uniform and bland and the dialogue is boring and seems to drag on forever. The reticle bounces around like nothing I've ever seen, and there were times where I was sure I was emptying entire clips into centre of mass and EVERY SINGLE BULLET WAS MISSING! The gunplay is just abysmal! I had to actually turn my console off several times because of how ineffectual and stupid I felt when I tried to shoot my guns. Picked Far Cry 5 up a few days ago, and I haven't been so disappointed with a game since Destiny 2.
